Sparx SAMURAI At-Home – Deburring Machine.

Sparx SAMURAI At-Home – Deburring without a whetstone. When sharpening, a fine burr remains on the edge. Normally, you would remove it by hand with a whetstone. The Sparx SAMURAI does this for you: You guide the blade through the guide, the rotating deburring disc removes the burr – and the sharpness is maintained. According to Sparx, this is the safest and fastest way to deburr ice skates. The deburring disc uses a special formula and is suitable for all types of steel, including coated, mirrored, and painted steel. Your advantages: Better: The burr is removed precisely. You get a consistently smooth edge with consistent sharpness – every time. Faster: Deburring in seconds, directly after sharpening. Safer: No direct contact with the sharp edge. How it works: Adjust: Turn the red adjustment wheel until you hear the disc just touch the metal insert in the blade guide. Then one click back. Pull through: Guide the blade through the guide in a smooth arc. According to the instructions, two pulls per skate are usually sufficient – one on each side. Adjustment: Sparx recommends briefly adjusting the dial after each pair of skates. This does not shorten the lifespan of the disc. Disc replacement: When the dial is at the end of its range, the disc is worn out. You can change them without tools. Scope of delivery: Sparx SAMURAI deburring machine, 1 Sparx deburring disc, blade guide for 3 mm steel, power supply. Suitable accessories: At-Home deburring disc as a replacement – according to Sparx, sufficient for approximately 200 pairs of ice skates, 4 mm blade guide for 4 mm thick blades, as found on some goalie and figure skates, Elite stand for an upright, stable position, Universal Blade Holder – necessary if you want to deburr loose blades without a skate. Good to know: The machine switches itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Never touch the disc while it is rotating or the machine is switched on. Sparx recommends that children under 13 years of age do not operate the SAMURAI. The deburring disc of the SAMURAI Commercial does not fit this machine. Video: Watch the Sparx SAMURAI video (YouTube)
