12V 24V to 9V DC-DC Step-Down Converter 3.5A Power Module

What It Is This is a compact DC to DC step-down converter that takes a 12V or 24V input and delivers a steady 9V output at up to 3.5A. It is designed for use in vehicles, caravans, boats and other 12V or 24V electrical systems where a lower, regulated voltage is needed to power compatible equipment. How It Works The module converts a higher DC voltage down to a stable 9V supply, making it suitable for powering devices that require a consistent 9V feed. With an output current range of 1A to 5A and an output power range of 1W to 50W, it offers flexibility across a variety of low-power applications. The switching frequency of 500Hz helps maintain efficient conversion during normal operation. Build and Dimensions Weighing just 45g and measuring 44mm by 25mm by 20mm, this converter is small and lightweight, which makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. Its compact form factor is well suited to installations where space is limited, such as behind dashboards, inside control panels or within DIY electronic projects. Compatibility Notes This unit is a DC to DC converter and is compatible with 12V and 24V input supplies. It is not limited to a single vehicle type and can be used wherever a regulated 9V output is required within the stated input range.
