29Pin SFF-8482 to USB 3.0 Converter Cable without External Power Supply

Supports transmission rates of SAS 6.0Gbps, 3.0Gbps, and 1.5Gbps. Offers a throughput of up to 5Gbps when used with a USB 3.0 host and device, 10 times the capability of USB 2.0. Only SFF-8482 SAS hard disks are supported; SFF-8639 U.2 hard disks are not supported. The card requires a 12V/3A DC 5.5x2.1mm plug power supply. The power supply is not included in the package and must be purchased separately if not already owned. This adapter has a built-in chip that converts SAS disks to the USB interface of a standard motherboard, allowing USB computers to use SAS disks without requiring a SAS card. If your USB interface does not have SAS functionality, connecting this adapter enables direct read/write access to SAS hard disks. Supports Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11. After conversion, SMART data from the SAS hard disk may display incomplete or no information, but this does not affect normal read and write operations.
