A3967 EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver Board This set of two A3967 EasyDriver stepper motor driver boards provides a straightforward way to add precise motor control to your projects. Each board is built around the A3967 microstepping driver IC and is designed to work with a wide range of 4-wire stepper motors, making it a practical choice for 3D printers, CNC machines, and other motion control applications. Simple Setup and Control The EasyDriver board simplifies stepper motor control by requiring only a digital 0 to 5V signal from your microcontroller—or 0 to 3.3V if you solder closed the SJ2 jumper. With just a 4-wire stepper motor and a microcontroller connected, you have fully functional motor control ready to go. This version includes a fix for the silk-screen error found in earlier revisions, ensuring clearer labelling for easier wiring. Adjustable Microstepping Resolution Each board features the MS2 pin broken out from the A3967 IC, allowing you to adjust the microstepping resolution to suit your application. The sleep and enable pins are also broken out for convenient control, giving you flexibility in managing power consumption and motor activation during operation. Important Handling Note To protect the A3967 IC from permanent damage, always disconnect the motor before powering the driver board, and never connect or disconnect a motor while the driver is energised. Following this simple precaution will help ensure reliable, long-term performance from your driver modules.
