The AHA from My Cosmetik, also known as fruit acids, are powerful exfoliating agents from the "enzymatic exfoliants" family. They stimulate cell renewal and skin microcirculation. They improve the appearance of the skin and make it more elastic. They even out the complexion, purify the skin, soften wrinkles, spots, and skin imperfections. AHAs are generally used for their powerful exfoliating and antioxidant properties (depending on the dosage). The exfoliating action is explained by the presence of fruit acids, which allows for a grain-free and mechanical action-free skin peeling. This peeling helps both to tighten the skin pores and to effectively eliminate impurities and dead skin cells. The skin then breathes better and regenerates more quickly. AHAs are also powerful antioxidants capable of combating free radicals, which are responsible for premature skin aging. The origin of free radical formation can be very varied: pollution, tobacco, solar rays, stress, certain medications, etc. AHAs are high-end ingredients in your homemade cosmetics to protect and beautify your skin. AHAs or alpha-hydroxy acids are acids derived from fruits (lemons, blackberries, apples, and grapes). They are mainly citric, lactic, malic, tartaric, and glycolic acids. These actives possess exceptional antioxidant and exfoliating properties. It is recommended to use in any preparation containing an aqueous phase: creams, milks, balms, gels, serums, tonics, hair care... - Purifying tonic lotion: Pour into a 100 ml bottle: 10 ml of glycerin, 35 ml of cornflower hydrosol, 29 ml of sterilized water, 24 drops of EPP, 25 ml of aloe vera juice, 3 ml of AHA. Shake vigorously to mix the elements well and then let rest for a few minutes. Can be used daily in the morning (before your makeup) or the evening (after your makeup removal). Apply on a cleansing wipe and then clean your face. Rinsing is not necessary. - Shampoo for oily hair: Melt in a bain-marie 90 ml of a thick washing base while stirring slightly. Then, when all the small white grains have melted and the consistency is homogeneous and transparent, remove from the bain-marie and add 45 ml of still warm sterilized water. Mix gently until the preparation is homogeneous. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the preparation to cool. Add 50 ml of vegetable foaming base then mix without foaming. Add 25 ml of sage hydrosol, 2.5 ml of cetyl alcohol (cétiol), 3 ml of rice protein, 8 ml of phytokeratin, 50 drops of isocide. Mix well. Finally, add 10 ml of borage vegetable oil, 5 drops of vitamin E, 40 drops of tea tree essential oil, and 5 ml of AHA. Mix until obtaining a well homogeneous substance. Transfer into a bottle. Shake the bottle well before each use. Apply on wet hair, massage then rinse. Can be used regularly. Keep out of reach of children. Respect the recommended dosages. Do not ingest. Do not inhale. AHAs can be irritating for very sensitive skin. Avoid the eye contour. Never use them pure. Do not add them to clay masks. Store properly closed, away from light and heat.
