At present, most car trunks on the market require a key or manual button to open. When the owner is holding a large item, they must place it on the ground before manually opening the trunk, which can be inconvenient. This product addresses this issue by being installed inside the rear tailgate of the vehicle and emitting microwaves downward for detection. If the sensor detects a valid kick within the sensing area, it outputs a corresponding signal based on signal strength to control the opening of the tailgate. Normal operation: Approach the bumper sensing area with your foot and then leave the area. Once this motion is completed, a trigger signal is generated. Conditions that do not generate a trigger signal include: stairs, stones, branches, rough roads, plastic bottles, car wash environments, and similar scenarios. Compatible with most vehicles. Installation instructions: 1. Locate the appropriate position on the rear bumper of the vehicle. 2. Clean the sensor installation area. 3. Remove the backing from the double-sided tape on the sensor (the taped side is the detection surface) and position it facing downward. 4. Securely attach the sensor to the rear protective panel (inside the bumper). Ensure the sensing surface is not obstructed by metal objects such as iron or aluminum. After powering on, wait 20 seconds for the self-test to complete before performing kicking or sweeping motions under the sensor. Important usage notes: 1. The sensor recognizes only one type of motion at a time—either a single kick or a single sweep. 2. After each motion, wait 2 seconds before performing another action. Operational behavior: The kick function is disabled while the vehicle is running and becomes active again after the engine is turned off.
