This USB 2.0 to RS485 converter facilitates serial data exchange between computing devices and peripheral equipment. It supports transmission distances up to 1200 meters and functions reliably across multiple operating systems. 1. Connects directly to computers running Windows 98, CE, 2000, 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Linux, or Mac OS X with full hot-plug capability. 2. Integrates TVS transient suppression, 15KV ESD protection, surge protection, and safeguards against AB signal line and power supply short circuits. 3. Maintains operational stability across a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C while featuring automatic data direction switching and TXD/RXD status indicators without requiring jumper settings. 4. Supports baud rates up to 921600 bps and draws power through a standard USB 5V connection with provisions for an externally fused 5V power input.
