We at HP's Sport Shop grind with a Blademaster Infinity grinding machine, matching we always use the Blademaster 8VBP grinding wheel and thus probably the best grinding wheel for the Blademaster system. What should you pay attention to when sanding?  Essentially, a distinction is made between Radius of Hollow and Flat Bottom.  Radius of Hollow produces much sharper edges and offers more stability than a Flat Bottom grind.The grip is much better, but you have more resistance in the glide phase.  The flat bottom grind is good for players who glide a lot and want to be agile in a small space, but the edge of a flat bottom grind is also quickly lost and the grind becomes unusable. To choose the radius can be recommended depending on body weight: Very light - 3/8" ; Lightweight - 1/2" ;D average - 5/8"; Heavy - 3/4" We generally work with H3, which is the radius suggested to the average person.  In the technical data you will find a table with the designations and radii.   Please note that you can only book this service in conjunction with a simultaneous ice skating purchase from us.
