It is said that Shesha holds all the planets of the universe on his hoods and constantly sings the glories of the God Vishnu from all his mouths. Vishnu often rests or meditates on Shesha, with his wife Lakshmi at his side massaging his feet. This beautifully crafted cold-cast bronze statue measures 9.75 inches high, 4.5 inches long, and 4 inches wide, and depicts Vishnu sitting on the coils of Shesha with its serpentine heads above him.
