If the vehicle has a steering wheel lock, please insert the key into the ignition and turn it to ACC. 1. Unlock the steering wheel and disconnect the original car's ignition plug to prevent the original car's audio power from being consumed. 2. If the original car has an anti-theft chip, remove it and attach it to a scannable area of the original car; otherwise, starting may fail. 3. Since the start button base is made of metal, if it interferes with the original car's anti-theft chip during attachment, choose another area or perform a higher placement. 4. This product's output consists of 5 wires: a 12V red wire connects to the original car's ignition wire; an orange ACC wire connects to the original car (usually in position 1); a white ON1 power wire connects to the original car (usually in position 2); a yellow starter wire connects to the original car (this wire is energized momentarily during startup and de-energized after startup); and a brown wire connects to the original car's ON2 power wire (this wire is energized when the key is pressed into the ON position, de-energized momentarily during startup, and energized after startup; careful judgment is required during installation). Some vehicle models only have 4 output wires: orange (ACC), white (ON), yellow (ignition start wire), and red (original ignition key's power wire). The brown wire is either unused or shared with the white ON1 wire. 6. When encountering vehicles with 6 output wires, in addition to following the method in section 4 above, you need to determine the function of the sixth wire. The method is to place the key in the ACC, ON, and ignition positions respectively, and check the power supply to the sixth wire in each of these three different states. During ignition, the sixth wire needs power; in this case, the yellow ignition start wire should be connected to the original ignition key's power wire or isolated using a relay. In the ON position, if the sixth wire has power, the white wire should be connected to the original ignition key's power wire or isolated using a relay. Please pay close attention to this, otherwise, starting may be difficult. 7. Unlike the main starter unit (which has a key start function but no key entry function), attention needs to be paid to the grounding wire. A secure connection is essential; the grounding wire must not be too long, otherwise starting will be difficult or the starter indicator light will extinguish when the brake is applied.
