Due to its small size and limited heat dissipation area, auxiliary cooling is required for currents exceeding 7A. While high-power products can handle larger currents, the conversion efficiency doesn't decrease significantly, so heat generation will still increase with power. If air cooling is slow in still conditions, it's recommended to directly attach the module's back to the chassis or other object for heat conduction to prevent overheating and protection.
