DC Motor Forward and Reverse Regulator with Limit Relay Driver This DC motor control board operates on 6V, 12V or 24V supplies and handles up to 20A of continuous current, making it well suited to lifting equipment and other applications that require reliable bidirectional motor control. The board combines forward and reverse regulation with a limit relay driver in a single unit, simplifying installation and reducing the number of separate components needed. Limit Signal Operation The limit signal, also referred to as a stop signal, is trigger type and level activated. When a short limit signal occurs during forward rotation, the movement stops immediately and remains stopped even after the limit signal is removed. To resume forward movement, the forward rotation signal must be restarted. This latching behaviour ensures the motor cannot inadvertently continue after hitting a limit, which is particularly important for lifting and positioning applications where safety and precision matter. Self-Locking Forward Control The PO version provides self-locking operation. When the external forward switch K1 is pressed, the motor begins rotating forward and continues to do so even after the switch is released. The motor only stops when it receives the reverse turn signal K2 or the forward turn stop signal SW1. This hands-free operation is useful when the operator needs to attend to other tasks while the motor runs. Signal Compatibility The control inputs are active low and accept a three-wire sensor of the NPN-NO type. The K1, K2, SW1 and SW2 connections all comply with this specification, giving flexibility when integrating the board with existing sensors or switches in your control system.
