The case is made of high-quality 0.6 mm thick brass sheet. The surface is highly polished and lacquered. Front glass made of mineral glass. Large tide display Accuracy: ±6 min/year (±1 sec/day) The time from the sun's highest point on one day to its highest point on the next is 24 hours. The time from the moon's highest point on one day to its highest point on the next is 24 hours, 50 minutes, and 28 seconds. The day and night of a tide clock are therefore 50 minutes and 28 seconds longer than a normal day and night. The tide clock's hand thus takes 12 hours, 25 minutes, and 14 seconds to complete one rotation, accurately indicating the tide cycle.
