Description

Probios "demerara" cane sugar is obtained directly from the juice extracted from crushed cane (saccharum offi cinarum) by artisanal operations, without the use of chemicals. The Demerara variety takes its name from the homonymous river located in Guaiana, South America, of which it originates. It has medium-sized grains, with a color between brown and golden, the high quantity of molasses gives it a more intense and aromatic flavor. It is recommended to be used to sweeten coffee and drinks or in the kitchen for the preparation of desserts. May contain traces of sesame seeds, nuts, soya and cereals containing gluten ( wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, khorasan kamut wheat ). Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources.
