Connector: SMA Pin Connector This set consists of a red medium wave donut (500kHz-2000kHz) and a blue short wave (4MHz-24MHz) donut. This set of loop antennas, consisting of the red medium wave and blue short wave loops, is a narrowband, high-impedance resonant antenna (Hi-Z). Therefore, when connected to a Malachite receiver, the medium wave and short wave loops should be connected to the for Malachite's high-impedance antenna input (Hi-Z). This UHF/VHF (FM) mini loop antenna covers the U band of 400MHz-490MHz and the V band of 80MHz-150MHz. The diameter of the V band loop is 10cm, and the diameter of the U band loop is 5cm. The antenna has an SMA male connector with pins and is a 50 Ohm low-impedance antenna. It is suitable for Malachite receivers and can also be used as a walkie-talkie antenna or radio antenna. It is compact and easy to carry, and uses variable capacitor tuning to improve signal reception, making it ideal for use with Malachite receivers. However, its low gain makes it less effective indoors. It is strongly recommended to use it with a Flow Gold amplifier for significantly improved performance. This antenna is a narrowband, high-impedance resonant antenna and must be used with the high-impedance input of a Malachite receiver; otherwise, the antenna detune and not function properly!
