Principe di Gerace's biodynamic lentils are grown on our farm in the green hills of Abruzzo. Thanks to the biodynamic method, respect for the natural cycles of the plants and harvesting in the times marked by the seasons, we are able to preserve the freshness and goodness of the product and make the land more fertile. Lentils, in fact, are an extraordinary legume not only for their organoleptic properties, but also for their ability to improve the fertility of the soil in which they are grown, thanks to the nitrogen-fixing properties of the plant. As archaeological finds attest, lentils have been consumed since prehistoric times, and have always been considered the meat of the poor.
