Cleanear cones are manufactured with a specific method that ensures the highest quality of the product. The winding of the cotton, the ideal length of the cone and the uniformity in the distribution of the wax are the main characteristics to obtain an optimal result. The cone is a product for the hygiene of the ear, thanks to a slow combustion it produces heat and this allows the ear wax to melt and as a consequence, by means of a small decompression, beneficial for the ear (chimney effect), it removes it together with the other remains, facilitating the physiological and natural expulsion of the wax plug. Excess wax can be the cause of discomforts such as buzzing, hissing and itching. It is recommended to carefully insert the narrowest part of the cone into the ear in a circular motion, so that it closes hermetically. Hold the cone with the hand vertically and without changes of position throughout the application. Light the wide part of the cone and let the fire burn it slowly. If smoke comes out of the ear, this indicates that the cone has not been inserted correctly or that it has moved. In this case, you have to blow gently to keep the smoke away from the face, not to remove the cone, but to put it back in the correct position to stop the smoke from coming out. When the flame reaches more or less one centimeter from the flame-breaking disk, the application is completed. Read the instructions for use carefully. The use of the cone is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Consult an otolaryngologist in advance to confirm the presence of a wax plug and to verify if any discomfort is due to this reason and not to other pathologies of the ear.
