Earring 21 Wolf in the Moon - Silver

Artfully designed earrings made of 925 sterling silver, motif: "Wolf in the moon". The crescent moon is decorated with a filigree knot pattern. The earrings are partially blackened, so that the design comes into its own. The price refers to one pair. Dimensions (without temple): approx. 20 mm high x approx. 15 mm wide background: According to Norse mythology, Odin had two wolves: Geri and Freki (the greedy and the voracious). After the Edda, Odin left to his wolves all the food that was served to him in Valhalla, since he himself only drank mead. But Odin's fate is also closely linked to another wolf: In the global conflagration Ragnarök, the father of the gods is devoured by Fenrir, the giant Fenris wolf.  Like ravens, wolves were considered by the Vikings to be animals of the battlefield. Celtic knots have neither beginning nor end and therefore serve as a symbol of infinity or eternity.
