The ebketone Blood Ketone Test Strips - 10 Keto Test Strips are specific for testing the level of ketones in the blood and provide accurate results. The strips should not be used to test neonates. The strips are for single use. They cannot be reused. Do not use the chip code of other test systems. It is recommended to prepare the lancet holder and perform the puncture with the lancet. Massage the area where the puncture is to be performed in order to activate circulation. Open the bottle of test strips, remove one strip and close the bottle immediately. Insert the test strip into the analyzer and the analyzer will turn on automatically. Check that the code that appears on the screen is the same as the one on the bottle of strips. When the blood symbol appears on the analyzer screen, perform the puncture with the lancet and lancet holder. Discard the first drop and use the second drop of blood by putting it in contact with the edge of the test strip (this process has to be done in one go). Within 10 seconds, the blood ketone levels will be displayed on the analyzer Do not remove the strip while the measurement is in progress. Store in a dry place at a temperature between 4ºC-30ºC.
