They are bent with rubber mallet, pierced, ground-burned and then burned in an oven. The enamel is real glass enamel and the holes lack eyelets, all to make them be and feel as genuine as possible. When the signs are burned, there are small temperature differences in the oven, which means that the signs can vary in both hue and appearance, which is also what gives the genuine feeling. You should pre-drill and screw by hand. Since the signs are real glass enamel, they can be cracked and scratched if you screw too hard or crooked. The signs are delivered without screws.
