Float Switch, 10m 250V 16A for Submerged Pump

This hollow PVC float switch operates on buoyancy to monitor liquid levels and automatically trigger connected equipment. It mounts securely to tank sides or drops into open containers, making it suitable for fresh water, clear fluids, or waste water applications. 1. Constructed from PVC, this float switch withstands temperatures between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius and carries an IP68 rating for submerged operation. 2. The device features a 10 meter cable rated for 250 volts AC at 50 hertz with a maximum load of 16 amps, allowing direct connection to pumps up to 1.1 kilowatts. 3. Designed to activate at a consistent fifty degree angle relative to the horizontal, the internal ballast weight ensures precise switching points for full or empty level monitoring. 4. Installation involves side mounting with screws for enclosed systems or simple placement from above for open tanks, while pumps exceeding 1.1 kilowatts require an external industrial power contactor. 5. The unit serves as a reliable indicator for routine liquid level checks, pump control, valve regulation, and standard alarm signaling across compatible filtration mediums.
