George Michael - Symphonica [CD]

Superstar George Michael is set to release his stunning new album, ‘Symphonica’ on March 17th, his sixth solo album. Produced by Phil Ramone and George Michael, ‘Symphonica’ will be released on a hardback deluxe, 17-track CD edition; a standard 14-track CD; a standard 14-track digital version and on pure audio Blu-Ray through Virgin EMI/Universal Music Group. The ‘Symphonica’ album was recorded during George’s wildly successful 2011-12 tour of the same name, a labour of love which fulfilled George’s long-standing ambition of showcasing his extraordinary vocals alongside an orchestra in some of Europe’s finest, most prestigious venues. Like the tour, the ‘Symphonica’ album comprises lovingly arranged and sung versions of carefully selected highlights from George’s sumptuous back catalogue plus interpretations of songs by some of George’s favourite artists. The album features the lead single ‘Let Her Down Easy’, which has got the campaign of to a flying start, having been added to the Radio 2 B List. ‘Let Her Down Easy’ is George Michael's first release since 2012’s ‘White Light’ single and ‘Symphonica’ is his first newly recorded album since 2004’s ‘Patience’.
