Description

Barley is a sweet and refreshing cereal. Its flour is traditionally used in North African countries, especially for bread. This cereal has been cultivated by man since prehistoric times, both in Mediterranean climates and in northern Europe. It has always been considered a refreshing cereal. Unlike wheat or rye, barley grain has a cellulose husk that cannot be eaten; that is why we sell hulled barley, that is, free of husk by a slight abrasion. Once hulled, barley is ground to obtain flour. It is recommended for making delicious breads, pancakes, muffins, donuts, pancakes and cakes. Possible traces of soy, nuts, sesame.
