Echizen is the name of an area in Japan where the washi base paper is produced, and has a history spanning over 1500 years. ILFORD?s ne.w original coating technology adds another dimension to the washi range, with a stunning sparkle effect. Inspiring photographer, artist, print-makers are now able to create brilliant inkjet prints with a natural handmade texture and shimmer by using this ILFORD GALERIE TESUKI-WASHI EchiZen Pearl 110 photo paper. Notes: Due to the unique coating characteristics of this paper (shimmer/sparkle effect) it may be necessary to increase image density 10% to 20% using tone curve adjustments. Further adjustments may also be required for colour matching.
