Lemon Zest Essential Oil. The essence is obtained by cold pressing the peel. It is photosensitizing, so it is essential not to expose yourself to the sun after using it. In addition to its energizing effect, lemon essence is useful for its purifying and detoxifying properties. Originally from Asia, it was found in the Mediterranean after Marco Polo's expeditions. In the 18th century, lemon juice was used to combat scurvy. Avicenna distinguished the Persian physician and philosopher, already recommending it for digestive disorders. During the Renaissance, it was recommended during epidemics. It is recommended to use as a food supplement, take a daily dose of 2 to 6 drops per day (90 to 270 mg) in a teaspoon of vegetable oil, for a maximum of 2 to 3 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It cannot replace a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children.
