Description The Levenhuk 5ST microscope is a modern instrument for both private and professional use. Thanks to the large working distance of 160 mm of this laboratory microscope, geological samples, jewelry, wristwatches, textiles, agricultural products and much more can also be examined. The optics of this modern measuring microscope provide high-quality images that allow precision measurements and a detailed study of the observed objects. With a WF-10x eyepiece and 2x and 4x objective lenses, this microscope provides microscope a total magnification of 20x or 40x. The binocular head of the Levenhuk 5ST is tilted by 60° and thus allows fatigue-free observations over long periods of time. The pupil distance of the binocular head, which can be adjusted in a range between 54 and 76 mm, provides additional comfort during observation. To focus the image, the coarse focusing wheel on the body of the microscope is turned. The upper and lower illumination sources allow observations in incident and transmitted light. For maximum contrast to the observed specimen, the specimen table top can be turned so that either its black or white side points upwards.
