Description The Levenhuk 400B is a binocular laboratory microscope for a wide range of professional applications in fields such as microbiology, veterinary medicine, ornithology, ecology, biochemistry and a wide range of other medical applications. This universal model is suitable for both brightfield and oil immersion observations. The microscope is equipped with a robust metal housing, high-quality achromatic optics and powerful LED illumination with a converging lens. The binocular head is particularly suitable for longer microscope work, as bilateral vision puts less strain on our eyes. The head can be rotated 360 °, the visual part is tilted 30 ° for insight. Wide-angle eyepieces offer 10x magnification, while the achromatic lenses in the rotating turret allow 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x magnification. The total magnification of the optical system ranges from 40 to 1000 times. In the two 40xs and 100xs lenses, the front lens is spring-loaded to protect against collisions. The 100xs objective allows observations using oil immersion. The table is equipped with a physical scale, under the table there is an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. A little further underneath, an LED bulb with a converging lens provides good illumination. The illumination brightness can be adjusted. Since it is possible to power the microscope with batteries, you can use the instrument even when it is not connected to a power source.
