M42 to Nikon AF mount adapter ring allows M42 mount lenses (for Zeiss, Pentax, Praktica, Mamiya, Zenit) to be used on Nikon cameras. There is no ROM connection on the ring, so diaphragm control of the lens is set manually. Compatible with macro rings and other accessories. Made of aluminum (not plastic). Color: Black. Note: Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, autofocus, or other functions will not operate correctly when using this adapter. Stop-down metering mode must be used, as the lens aperture cannot be controlled by the camera body. Suitable for Nikon DSLR and film SLR cameras that accept Nikon AF lenses. Works in manual mode or aperture priority mode. Package includes: M42-AI step-up lens adapter x 1 piece.
