This device is compatible with engine control units EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 (petrol). The EDC15 control unit is used in diesel engines for models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control unit is used in petrol engines with displacement of 1.6L and above. Also supported: ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1 control units. Usage instructions: - Connect the EDC15/ME7 device to the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic port. - Set the device switch to “OFF”. - After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). - The LED indicator will first flash slowly, then rapidly — indicating successful deactivation. - The vehicle can be started without a transponder key. - To restore immobilizer function, set the device switch to “ON”. - After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be reactivated (IMMO ON). Compatible with vehicles equipped with Motronic control units EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 (petrol). Not compatible with 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4L, or 1.6L petrol engines.
