This high-quality sharpening set is easy to use and is suitable for beginners and expert leathercraft makers. This set does not only help sharpen your edge bevelers but can also polish and smooth out the blades with the included jeweler's rouge. A great addition to your leathercraft supplies.This set includes:• Sharpening rod• Jeweller's rouge• 800 grit sandpaper• 1200 grit sandpaperTo properly sharpen your leather edge beveler, lay the sharpening rod on your workbench and place the strip of sandpaper over the rod. Position the groove of the edge beveler along where the sharpening rod is placed and run it in a pull motion. After sharpening the blade, place a piece of paper over the sharpening rod, then put oil on the jeweler's rouge and rub it onto the paper. Run the edge beveler on the rod with the paper maintaining the pull motion to polish and smooth the blade of your edge beveler. You can also use the edge of a leather to polish your tool by adding oil and rubbing the jeweler's rouge on the leather edges and running the tool (pull motion) along the edge.
