Description

Agave gelatin is extracted from the sap of several species of the agave plant. This product is organically grown and free of GMOs (genetically modified organisms), presenting a light color and a smooth, delicious flavor. This Orignes Bio jelly is a tasty and popular alternative to conventional refined sugar or honey, in the case of vegans, and is also known as agave nectar. Agave jelly is a nutritionally richer sweetener than regular sugar, as it has a higher vitamin and mineral content and is a source of fiber. Another advantage is its glycemic index, which is lower than regular sugar, meaning the sugar release is more gradual, thus avoiding spikes in insulin production. It's recommended to use it as a substitute for conventional sugar in any recipe: pancakes, cakes, pastries, or even to sweeten beverages, coffee, juices, or smoothies.
