Artfully designed owl with outstretched wings made of 925 sterling silver. The pendant is partially blackened, so that the eyes and the structure of the plumage come into their own. Dimensions: approx. 16 mm high x approx. 24 mm wide Internal dimensions of the eyelet: approx. 5.5 mm high x approx. 3.7 mm wide Weight: approx. 3.7 g The jewelry pendant comes with a noble snake necklace made of 925 sterling silver. The necklace is about 0.8 mm thick. We offer four different lengths: 41 cm, 51 cm, 61 cm and 66 cm. Background: In ancient Greece, the owl was worshipped as a bird of wisdom. In medieval Europe, on the other hand, nocturnal birds were regarded as bringers of bad luck, as heralds of death. In addition, owls and owls were considered witch birds that transmitted messages for the sorceresses.
