Pendant 10 Runic Circle - Pewter

Artfully designed rune-peis pendant made of pewter/pewter. The runes are: "Earth, Wind, Fire, Water", which means the Four Elements. The pendant is partially blackened. Dimensions: approx. 36 mm high x approx. 26 mm wide inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 5 mm weight: approx. 7 g The pendant comes with a black cotton ribbon. background: runes were used by the Germanic peoples from the 2nd to the 14th century, especially for inscriptions on stone. Most of the surviving runic inscriptions come from Viking Age Scandinavia. The spelling of the Four Elements (earth, wind, fire and water) is quite eccentric here, but with a little imagination the experienced runeologist can understand what is meant.
