Description

Large, sculpturally designed bat in flight made of bronze. The pendant is partially blackened on the front, so that the structure of the animal comes into its own. On the back of the pendant there are three eyelets: one in the middle of the wings, and a third behind the fuselage. Dimensions: approx. 26 mm high x approx. 79 mm wide inner diameter of the eyelets: approx. 4 mm Weight: approx. 14 g The pendant comes with a black cotton strap. Background: Bats are considered a symbol of luck and prosperity in China. In Europe, the night creatures have had rather negative connotations since antiquity: as a symbol of vampirism, death and the devil. This is precisely why the furry fluttering animals also enjoy great popularity in the gothic scene.
