Massive, beautifully curved triskele made of 925 sterling silver. The central motif is surrounded by a ring. The necklace pendant is partially blackened so that the artistic design comes into its own. Dimensions: approx. 25 mm Diameter Inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 5.2x3 mm Weight: approx. 4.5 g The pendant comes with a black cotton ribbon. Background: The motif of the triskele (triple spiral) is traditionally used in numerous cultures around the world. The use was particularly common in the Nordic and Celtic cultural areas. The triskele is usually symbolic of the path of life. There are many different interpretations, whereby the number three always plays a major role: past-present-future or birth-life-death or earth-water-air or youth-adulthood-old age.
