Artfully designed Viking axe from 925 sterling silver. The axe blade is decorated with a howling wolf on the front and back. The chain pendant is partially blackened, so that the design comes into its own. For women and men. dimensions: approx. 34 mm high x approx. 19 mm wide Interior dimensions of the eyelet: approx. 6 mm high x approx. 4 mm wide weight: approx. 6 g The jewelry pendant is supplied with a black cotton ribbon. Background: Xes were an integral part of the everyday life of the Vikings. In addition to simple working axes, there were more and more special fighting axes in the course of the Viking Age, which were very thin and sharp. Often the axe blades were richly decorated, so that the weapons were also used for solemn ceremonial occasions.   According to Norse mythology, Odin had two wolves: Geri and Freki (the greedy and the voracious).
