Artfully crafted amulet made of 925 sterling silver. The main motif is a pentagram, its points adorned with Celtic knots. Integrated into the magical symbol are the sun and moon, with the sun further embellished with a triskele. This captivating combination is encased in a simple ring. The pendant is partially blackened on the front, and the back is ribbed. Dimensions: approx. 30 mm diameter. Inner dimensions of the bail: approx. 6 mm high x approx. 3.7 mm wide. Weight: approx. 7.5 g. The pendant comes complete with an elegant 925 sterling silver snake chain. The chain is approx. 1 mm thick and subtly oxidized. We offer three different lengths: 45 cm, 55 cm, and 65 cm. Background: The pentagram is a five-pointed star and can be drawn in a single line. It is a symbol frequently used in magic. With its point upwards, the pentacle signifies white magic. In folklore, the symbol was long considered a protective mark against evil. Celtic knots have neither beginning nor end and therefore serve as a symbol of infinity or eternity. The motif of the triskele (three-spiral) is traditionally widespread in numerous cultures around the world. Its use was particularly common in Nordic and Celtic cultures. The triskele generally symbolizes the path of life. There are many different interpretations, with the number three always playing a significant role: past-present-future, birth-life-death, earth-water-air, or youth-adulthood-old age.
