It has two different sides for two different tasks: delicate meats such as steak can be easily handled with the flat side, and with the convex surface you can gently tamp tough pieces of meat. The pestle is made of high-quality stainless steel and the head is firmly welded to the handle and impresses with its exceptional stability. The design created by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez is equally convincing: it impresses with a minimalist look that turns the meat tenderizer into a real design object that is also particularly functional. The surface has been partially polished and satin-finished. The resulting contrast of shiny and matte parts is exceptionally elegant and fits perfectly with the timeless design of the kitchen helper.
