The AD9833 is a low power programmable waveform generator capable of producing sine, triangle, and square wave outputs suitable for detection and time domain reflectometry applications. It operates via a software programmable serial interface without requiring external components for basic functionality. 1. Supports waveform generation including sine, triangle, and square outputs across a frequency range of 0 MHz to 12.5 MHz using a reference clock up to 25 MHz. 2. Interfaces directly with microprocessors and DSPs through a standard serial line compatible with clock frequencies up to 40 MHz. 3. Operates on a power supply between 2.3 V and 5.5 V with a sleep mode function to minimize consumption during non-active periods. 4. Includes one DDS module and one pin header within the package contents.
