Quad DAC Output Sensor Module with EEPROM for STEMMA QT Qwiic Projects

The MCP4728 features four 12-bit DACs in a compact package for precise voltage setting applications. It includes internal EEPROM to store DAC settings, which are automatically loaded at power-up. Communication is via I²C interface. The device supports selection between two reference voltage sources: the supply voltage (VCC) or an internal 2.048 V reference. When using the internal reference, selectable gain options (1× or 2×) provide output ranges of 0 V to 2.048 V or 0 V to 4.096 V. When using the supply voltage as the reference, the output range is 0 V to VDD. Specifications: - 12-bit voltage-output DAC with four buffered outputs - On-board non-volatile memory (EEPROM) for DAC codes and I²C address bits - Internal or external reference voltage selection - Output voltage range: - With internal VREF (2.048 V): 0.000 V to 2.048 V (gain = 1); 0.000 V to 4.096 V (gain = 2) - With external VREF (VDD): 0.000 V to VDD - ±0.2 LSB differential nonlinearity (DNL), typical - Fast settling time: 6 μs, typical - Single-supply operation: 2.7 V to 5.5 V - Default I²C address: 0x60 - PCB construction - Appearance may vary slightly between production batches; functionality is unaffected Package contents: - 1 × MCP4728 Quad DAC Output Module
