Philips FY2401 är ett uppgraderat filter med sex månaders livslängd, vilket är dubbelt så lång livslängd jämfört med föregående generationens filter. Rengör befuktningsfiltret varje vecka för att hålla det i ett hygieniskt skick. För att erhålla optimal prestanda ska filtret bytas ut var sjätte månad, men om det är i bra skick kan det användas längre.
