Golf cart brake drum/hub assembly fits 1982-up electric vehicles. The drum is secured by a castellated nut (5/8-Inch x 18tpi) and a thick (.118-Inch) flat washer and will not operate with a keyed axle/hub interface. This brake hub/drum replaces the earlier hub & drum and features a star spline instead of a straight key. It has a 3/4-Inch center hole with a 24-tooth star spline. This is for the brake drum only. When replacing this brake drum, inspect the hub assembly as well. Hub spline and rear axle shaft spline must be tightly matched. If either component is worn, both should be replaced simultaneously to prevent premature spline damage.
