This RS232 to RS485 converter adapter facilitates communication between serial devices operating under EIA/TIA standards. The compact unit supports asynchronous half-duplex transmission across various wiring setups for routine equipment integration. 1. Interface configuration provides a DB9 female connector on the RS232 side and a DB9 male connector paired with a 3P terminal board on the RS485 side. 2. Transmission rates range from 300 to 115200 bps over common wires, double wires, UTP, or shielding lines, with maximum distances of 1200 meters for RS485 and 5 meters for RS232. 3. The device functions in environments ranging from -10 to 86 degrees Celsius with humidity levels between 5 and 95 percent. 4. The adapter measures 5.5 centimeters in length, 3.5 centimeters in width, and 1.8 centimeters in height, with each package containing one unit.
