Description

Part of Gotoh's own Relic Series, these 6 in line Kluson-style tuning machines have been aged at the Gotoh factory in Japan to create an old, worn-in appearance. Ideal for replacing worn-out machineheads on an original vintage instrument or to make a new guitar look a little bit older at the headstock end. Sold as a set of six. Comes complete with push-fit bushes and screws. The push-fit bushes have an outer diameter of 8.8mm. For headstock holes that measure 10mm in diameter, Gotoh manufacture a set of aged nickel adapter bushings that can be found here. Most machine heads that are artificially 'aged' after manufacturer tend to be the result of certain chemical treatments and polishing processes. Unfortunately, such treatments can also have a detrimental effect on the durability and functionality of the internal parts. These Gotoh Relic Series parts are crafted to look aged and worn during Gotoh's own initial production stage and therefore the key internal components are not affected by this process and retain their full usability and durability. Please note that these do not have any name stamped on the back casing.
