Description

 SHAPTON K0703 Water Sharpening Stone, 2000 Grit A series of traditional water stones with grits ranging from 120 to 30,000 grit. In addition to being individually marked with a product code, each stone is also identified by its unique color. This allows for quick stone selection when sharpening knives. The stones are packaged in special protective plastic boxes that also serve as a stand.  Specially developed "Splash&Go" technology prevents the stone from absorbing excessive water. This allows for a generous spray of water on the stone during subsequent sharpenings, eliminating the need for prolonged soaking. Only when using a KUROMAKU stone for the first time should it be soaked in water for approximately 6 minutes.  KUROMAKU series stones can be used with both water and special sharpening oil.
