Heat shrink tubing is universally applied for the insulation of connections or for the end handling of electrical wire, for the isolation of solder points on resistors and capacitors, for the identification and encapsulation of electrical wire, for corrosion protection of metal rods or pipes, and for the protection of antennas. Heat shrinkable tubes are used for corrosion-proof and watertight connection of fiber optic cable. This is a thin-walled, flexible, irradiated polyolefin hose with a smooth exterior. It offers excellent tensile strength and low water absorption. Max. The shrinkage ratio is 50% and the material is flame retardant.
