Automatic Scanning After turning on, the screen displays SCAN and ---- symbol, indicating that the meter is in automatic scanning test mode. Simply measure the component being tested, and the meter will automatically determine resistive value, diode, or capacitance, displaying the measurement value on the screen. Note: When measuring components on a circuit board, be sure to power off and discharge the capacitor voltage. 2. Resistive Value Measurement ① In automatic scanning mode, measurement range: 0.1Ω-3.000 MΩ. ② In manual measurement mode selected by the FUNC key, the measurement range expands to 30MΩ, namely 0.1Ω-30.00MΩ. When overloaded, OL is displayed. Note: This tester does not have a beeping measurement function. When selecting the beeping symbol with the FUNC key, the function is for 300Ω resistive value measurement. 3. Capacitance Measurement ① In automatic scanning mode, measurement range: 0.3nF-300.0uF. ② When entering capacitance measurement mode with the FUNC key, the measurement range expands to 30.00mF, namely 0.1nF-30.00mF. Note: Before measurement, be sure to discharge the voltage on the capacitor to prevent electric shock or damage to the meter. 4. Diode Test ① Detects the condition of diodes and other unidirectional conductive semiconductor devices. ② When measuring the forward voltage drop of a diode, the R/C/D test pen contacts the positive terminal of the component being tested, and the COM test pen to the negative terminal, the forward voltage drop will then be displayed on the screen. 5. Battery Replacement: When the battery symbol appears on the display screen, it indicates low battery power and requires timely replacement. ① Use a screwdriver to open the battery cover. ② Remove the old battery and replace it with a battery of the appropriate specification (3V button cell).
