Description

Hydrogel dressing consisting of polyvinyl pyrrolidone in water, the gel is supported by a fusible fibre scrim and protected on both sides by polyethylene film. Provides moist environment conductive for optimal wound healing. Protects against dehydration and bacterial contamination. Absorbs exudates from the wound. Suggested Use: Cleanse the wound with saline or an appropriate wound cleanser. Apply Solosite Gel to cover the wound bed (5 mm thick) and cover with a gauze, foam or transparent film dressing.
