Step 1: Remove the red cover at the end of the probe and open the tester. Step 2: Insert the probe into 3-5 inches of soil Step 3: Adjust the position of the probe until the tester is fixed in the soil to be tested. Step 4: Read the moisture/pH/light level/temperature data on the dial for about 10s. Push the switch on the back to pH or as needed Step 5: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use. notes: Do not put items in liquids for testing.
