Iron Bisglycinate is a dietary supplement providing enhanced absorption without gastrointestinal side effects. It is essential for red blood cell formation, helping to fight fatigue and other symptoms of iron deficiency in athletes and others. NSF Certified for Sport, this product is gluten free and provides 25 mg of elemental iron per capsule. An iron deficiency can manifest as weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and other symptoms. Athletes need approximately 1.5 times as much iron as non-athletes, with needs increasing up to 1.8 times for vegetarians and those with lower protein diets.
